Reviewer Guidelines

Iris Publishers prides itself on the dissemination of scientific knowledge that is credible and written by authenticity. The credibility of research papers relies heavily on our peer review system, as these individuals are the important part of the publishing process. Reviewers are expected to evaluate each submission and provide feedback to ensure the quality of the content is compromised. The reviewer only has to check and critique papers, they are not expected to rewrite anything, rather just ensure incoming content holds up to the standards set by the journal. Articles will be provided to the reviewer from the editorial office for review within a mentioned timeframe.

We invite more experts to come join our team of skillful reviewers and help maintain the standards of our journal with their guidance to authors to produce authentic content. Manuscripts are published only when a reviewer passes them and is an important initial step in the publication procedure.

Guidelines

  • On receiving an invitation, reviewers are expected to provide deadlines for when they can review manuscripts.
  • The person must specifically write to us about accepting or declining the invitation to become a reviewer. They could also suggest names of friends and colleagues they deem fit to be reviewers in case they don’t want to take it up. Transferring invitations is not allowed. Upon intimating us, we shall send your recommended person a separate invite.
  • Reviewers get manuscript based on their field of interest and expertise. Articles that may not be in their purview must be returned to the editorial office.
  • All communication for time extension, conflict of interest and cancelling a review must be made with the editorial office directly.
  • Reviewers are not allowed to show any favoritism while evaluating manuscripts.
  • Reviewers are not entertained to discuss about the paper with respective author(s).
  • All manuscripts until published are the authors’ own intellectual property. Reviewers may not use any information from the manuscript for their own use, academically or otherwise.
  • Only constructive criticism is accepted, offensive remarks or crude language will not be tolerated.
