I am a certified by the Romanian Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery as an ENT-HNS specialist from 2004 and as a ENT-HNS consultant from 2009. I graduated “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Iasi, Romania in 1997 and I completed my residency program in ENT-HNS in the same university working in “Sf. Spiridon”University Hospital, in 2004. I completed a fellowship in nasal endoscopy – skull base surgery in 2006 in Rennes – France Medical University. In 2004 I graduated my PhD program studying the multimodal approach in sinonasal malignant tumors. Today I am an Associate Professor at “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Iasi – Romania, teaching students and training residents.

Since 2018 I am Senior Lecturer at the ENT Department of the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. Since 2014 I am the Deputy Commander of the National Institute of Aerospace Medicine (INMAS) in Bucharest. Between 2009 and 2014, I was the Head of the Chronic Rhonchopathy Department in INMAS. I was also the Head of the Psychology Department in INMAS. I specialized in ENT and Cervico-facial Surgery at the Central Military Hospital of Madrid. Other specialities: Somnology, Travel medicine, Aerospace medicine, Disaster medical management, Aviation accident investigation, Work and organizational psychology, Transportation psychology, Clinical psychology, Applied psychology to national security, Aviation Psychology. I am a member of the European Academy of Sleep Medicine, European Society of Aerospace Medicine, Sociedad Espanola de ORL y Cirugia Cervico-Facial (Spanish ENT and Cervico-facial Surgery Society), European Association for Aviation Psychology, Romanian Sleep Society, Romanian ENT Society, Romanian College of Psychologists and Romanian Society of Aerospace Medicine.

Ami Rokach, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist who has been researching and teaching about loneliness for the past 35 years. More precisely, Ami has been involved in researching the experience of loneliness, its causes and how to cope with it effectively, and guiding patients to do the same. Ami is the Executive Editor of the Journal of Psychology: Interdisciplinary and Applied, and as a clinical psychologist combines offering individual, couple and sex therapy with teaching and research. Ami is an associate professor and is teaching psychology at The Center for Academic Studies in Israel, and is also a member of the psychology departments at York University in Canada, and Walden University in the USA. His therapeutic and research interests include loneliness, sexuality, couple & sex therapy, anxiety and phobias, traumatic experiences and personal growth, stress management, and palliative care. After 35 years of ‘doing’ psychology he is still intrigued by human nature, people’s suffering, and the real opportunity that we all have to grow, flourish, and reinvent ourselves despite obstacles and painful experiences.

She enjoys integrating her Christian faith with academic learning environments as well as through teaching human physiology and pathophysiology to nursing students.
