Biography
Her primary research centers on "the assessment triangle" that links the vertices of learning (cognition), assessment, and interpretation. Her work is mainly geared towards tying the science of cognition to the research of assessment. Finally, she is interested in statistical and cognitive methods for bringing well-warranted information to bear on the validity of the link between assessment and the construct to be measured

Classroom-based assessment, large-scale testing of STEM learning in K-12 education, analysis of cognitive foundations of psychometric soundness etc.
