Biography
Li Jian is an associate professor and Ph.D. at the Institute of International and Comparative Education, Beijing Normal University. Ph.D. in Educational Policy (Comparative Education) from Indiana University Bloomington (IUB), USA. Research interests: Comparative education policy, international student assessment research (PISA test), internationalization of higher education, etc., Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researcher in China. In the past 6 years, he has published more than 100 papers in Chinese and English in SSCI and CSSCI index journals such as Higher Education, Nature Human Behavior, International Journal of Education Research, Educational Philosophy and Theory, Educational Research, Comparative Education Research, and China Journal of Education. He has published more than 30 monographs in English and more than 50 articles in China Education News, Peoples Political Consultative Conference Daily, and Peoples Daily Overseas Edition. More than 30 proposals have been adopted by national, provincial and ministerial decision-making departments or participated in the writing of the National Committee of the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference. He has presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the National Social Science Foundation, Beijing Social Sciences, Beijing Education Science and National High-end Think Tank. He has served as an editorial board member and reviewer for several international English-language journals.
