Duties: Providing vital input in short and long term strategic and operational planning and positioning within the organization, facilitating the drafting and signing of performance contracts in line with regulatory requirements, annual plan and strategic plan; building both the office’s research agenda and informs policy makers so that they can direct and drive the development of strategies, tools and interventions that reduce road carnage and property damage caused by road traffic accidents, leading a citywide data integration effort that includes the building of analytic systems and other tools in order to guide policy making and operations, implementing document control systems to ensure that changes to project documentation are recorded and distributed to relevant staff and volunteers, monitoring progress on projects and making senior staff members aware of any issues such as potential delays to projects, coordinating effective capture and monitoring of intellectual property arising from the entity’s research portfolio, supporting in-house research projects and consultations – including setting questions for surveys, and topic guides for focus groups/ interviews, supporting additional specific research initiatives as required, analyzing road safety data more accurately and efficiently, managing the organization’s databases on, among others, driving schools and defensive driving courses graduates and co-operating agencies, ensuring and monitoring training of all Traffic Safety Instructors, monitoring compliance of all co-operating agencies and submitting quarterly reports of the same to management.

Duties: Providing economic advice to EMCOZ and its membership, producing economic research on the specific aspects of the economy and impact on the business sector, assessment of the economic impact of national policies, events and policy pronouncements on Zimbabwe and specifically the business sector, Workplace HIV programming and training, forecasting economic trends and advising EMCOZ, sitting on various technical committees as directed by EMCOZ and articulate issues on behalf of the organization, produce technical and non-technical reports, research on economic matters, gathering primary and secondary data on the labour market, classifying, collating and storing information prioritized by members for easy access and retrieval, keeping and updating labour market information databases, maintenance EMCOZ website content, disseminating information on the labour market (retrenchment, minimum wages) to members electronically and on hard copy, creating the labour consultancy database, producing the EMCOZ newsletter, managing and editing content of the EMCOZ website, editing the EMCOZ annual report.

Duties: Data collection, entry and analysis towards the development of a continental (Africa) e-agriculture blueprint as well as the Zimbabwe AgriTech Strategy; mapping Quantitative and quantitative Indicators of State of Agriculture in Africa – by region, by country including few macro-economic indicators; aggregate Index calibration to classify countries.
