Rolf Ekedahl being specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology after physicians training MD. For thirteen years working as Clinical Neurophysiology physician in Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge with clinical issues of Epilepsy monitoring, diagnostics of different conditions of nerve and muscle diseases. Completed his medical thesis Ph.D. New functional and anatomical aspects of the organization of human peripheral nerve, in 1996 at Karolinska Institute. Since 1998 director of research and development in NeuFydi organization specifically oriented to qEEG analysis in dementia diagnostics and Electroconvulsive monitoring issues. He has published 17 papers in reputed journals on different topics Human peripheral nerve organization microneurography, Quantitative EEG monitoring at Electroconvulsive therapy, and Quantitative EEG analysis in Dementia diagnostics. Acknowledged as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology.
Quantitative EEG (qEEG) analysis techniques related to important clinical issues. Namely, Electroconvulsive therapy monitoring with qEEG technique to improve and better understand how it best executed. Another area for my recent interest is qEEG in dementia diagnostics and more specifically, to monitor Acetylcholine dependent Brain activities to improve therapies and early diagnostics
Jun Ping Zhang have received bachelors and masters degrees in medicine in 1987 and 1990 respectively. After graduating in 1990, he worked at Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine). In 1997, he continued my PhD degree at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. During the period, he passed the examination of the Japanese Sawag Medical Scholarship and went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of the Elderly. And he was engaged in cell biology research. After returning to China in 2003, he returned to Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine to serve as the director of the Scientific Research Department. In 2007, he was transferred to the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he served as the chief physician. Now he was the vice president, the executive deputy director of the Internal Medicine Management Committee. he am one of the leaders of the national key discipline “Traditional Chinese Medicine” , the leader of the “The basis of the integration of Chinese and Western medicine” subject, National " Ten-thousand Talents Program " millions of works leading talent, “New Century Talents Project” national candidates, the Ministry of Education "New Century Excellent Talents" program to support candidates, the Ministry of Health “a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions”, National excellent teacher, enjoying special government allowances from the State Council
Mainly engaged in medical cardio-cerebral vascular related research, more deeply studied ischemic heart disease, hypertension, viral myocarditis and other diseases, and advocated the concept of“Heart and Brain treatment together”. I have published more than 300 related papers, 26 papers in SCI, and 4 monographs. He have also presided over 16 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Science and Technology Support Program, and the Doctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education.
