Biography
Mohamed Ahmed Matter was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1968. He received his Ph-D in Cairo University during the period of 1999-2004. Currently, he is working as Professor, in Plant Biotechnology Department, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Division, National Research Centre.Based on this research and fellowship training, he is Supervisor of two MS.c and three Ph.D thesis. He is a principal investigator (PI) for one project and He is now Co PI of one major projects funded from Egyptian ASRT. He is expert reviewers for journals like African Journal of Biotechnology (AJB), African Journal of Biochemistry (AJB), Journal of plant breeding and crop science (JPBCS), Journal of plant studies (JPS). Journal of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (JGEB) and Journal of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry (JPPB). He has published 27 papers in National and International Journals. He is a member of Egyptian Society of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and Egyptian Society of Plant Tissue Culture.
