Eddie Gordon completed his Ph.D. at Capella University. Dr. Gordon’s dissertation was centered around the recidivism rate of female prisoners in Georgia. Interestingly, women are the fastest growing population in prison and are only allowed 210 of the allocated 1716 beds in halfway houses throughout the entire state. The results of his dissertation brought attention to the disparity of female prisoners released via a halfway house in Georgia. Dr. Gordon graduated with a B.S. and M.P.A from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. While attending graduate school, he decided to take part in a cross agency protocol designed to promote tougher sentencing for individuals that abuse and neglect children, which led him into higher education. Previously, Dr. Gordon served as a Project Administrator for Georgia Department of Human Resources (DHR) and a Deputy Sheriff. DHR is responsible for public health, child-welfare, and mental health. He served in the child-welfare section with the responsibility of investigating child fatalities, developing investigative protocol, serving in counties with a high critical need, training, and various other duties as assigned. Dr. Gordon is a certified fraud examiner (CFE), and continues to practice in the field of fraud prevention. What led Dr. Gordon to the classroom was a thriving need to motivate students with real world experience tied to theoretical application. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of the Virgin Islands. Dr. Gordon has been in higher education for over 15 years with a research background in corrections, criminology, deviant behavior, recidivism, addiction, and criminal behavior analysis.

Dr. William R (Rick) Stripling is a veteran administrator at Arkansas State University. Dr. Stripling serves as Associate Professor/Program Coordinator for College Student Personnel Services, Master’s Degree. His doctorate is from Southern Illinois University, majoring in College Student Personnel Services, Master’s Degree in Counseling Arkansas State University, Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology University of Tampa. Has held the following positions: Executive Director of the Student Affairs Project, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Associate VC, Assistant VC, Dean of Students, Associate Dean, Assistant Dean, Director of Activities, and Counselor. Dr. Stripling also was instrumental in the redesign of the Arkansas State University campus (adding several living learning communities, recreational, and campus life facilities totaling over 1,000,000 square feet), as well as the design and development of the ASU campus in Queretaro, Mexico. He currently serves as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission. Currently working on his book “Legacy of Change” an administrators guide to being successful. Dr. Stripling serves as a consultant in student affairs staff development.

As for my research interests, it is the psychology of all its branches, especially counseling and psychotherapy, personality, clinical psychology, psychological measurement, applied psychology, positive psychology and its applications in counseling and psychotherapy, psychological statistics, social psychology, cyber psychology, problems and mental disorders in different stages of growth.

Tracy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of North Carolina with a Doctoral Degree in Christian Counseling. Tracy received a grant for her research from the North Carolina Problem Gambling Program (NCPGP) in 2017 and presented a Poster at the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG) Conference on Gambling and Addiction in Las Vegas on 10/07/2018. The NCPGP also funds Tracys current research. Tracy presented her research at the LPC conference on 10/27/2018, the NC Lottery Commission on 12/04/2018 and the School Nurse Conference on 12/06/2018. Tracy is a panelist for the Sports Gambling and Gaming Summit to be held on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Irina A. Gontschar, MD, PhD, was born on November 18, 1966 in Minsk, Belarus. In her native country, Belarus, Irina Gontschar went the way from a neurologist in the stroke department to a Deputy director of the Republican Research and Clinical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk, Belarus). The scientific projects that I. Gontschar performed during her scientific career were related to the problem of cerebrovascular diseases. She was especially interested in the problem of progressive ischemic stroke, functional outcome and patient survival. Irina Gontschar currently resides with her family in Los Angeles, USA.
