Dr. James Stoxen, DC, FSSEMM (hon) FWSSEM, is the president of Team Doctors®, Chicago, Illinois, one of the most recognized treatment centers in the world.
He has been invited to speak at over 180 medical conferences in over 50 international cities in over 30 countries. He has been invited to give the keynote presentation at over 30 medical conferences in over 17 international cities in 14 countries. He has presented keynote and plenary presentations at more than 75 medical conferences addressing an estimate of more than 50,000 medical doctors and scientists from 70 countries.
Dr Stoxen is recognized as a leader in the field of medicine, internationally. He has been invited to serve as a member of the organizing committee of more than 30 medical conferences in 15 countries.
Dr Stoxen is an award-winning doctor. In 2015, he was awarded an honorary fellowship by a member of the royal family, the Sultan of Pahang, for his distinguished research and contributions to the advancement of medical science in the areas of sports and exercise medicine on an international level. He was awarded his second honorary fellowship from the World Society of Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2017.
Editors from over 70 international scientific journals have asked Dr Stoxen to submit articles and manuscripts on his research and innovative approaches in medicine. Over 20 scientific journal editors have asked for manuscripts of the Integrated Spring-Mass Model and the Human Spring Approach To Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
In his first book, The Human Spring Approach to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Dr. Stoxen explains how to use his Human Spring Model to better examine and treat Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). It is a #1 bestseller and bestseller in the US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Germany, UK, Spain and Italy.
Dr. Stoxen has treated more than 500 national and world champions at over 50 national and world championships. He has been hired to work for over 135 national tours, asked to consult with and treat over 1000 celebrity entertainers and their handlers.
He has been inducted in the National Fitness Hall of Fame, the Personal Trainers Hall of Fame, and appointed to serve on the prestigious, Global Advisory Board, of The International Sports Hall of Fame. He was a appointed a member of the Muscle and Fitness editorial advisory board by publisher Joe Weider in 1994.
