Dr Ancuța Rotaru is a full professor at the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iași, Romania, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services, Department of Transportation Infrastructure and Foundations. Lectures (Undergraduates): Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering programmes (English, Romanian); Engineering Geology, Construction Programme; Foundations on Problematic Soils, CCIA Programme, Special Issues in Geotechnical Engineering, CFDP Programme. Lectures (Masters): Complements of Engineering Geology, Foundations for Specific Structures. She is a PhD supervisor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services. She has authored 4 international books, more than 10 international chapters and 5 books published by national publishing houses related to modern and traditional building materials, hazards in the built environment, sustainable rehabilitation in construction and problematic foundation soils. Director of 6 national/international grants, one of which was "Rehabilitation of the Built Environment in the Context of Smart City and Sustainable Development Concepts for Knowledge Transfer and Lifelong Learning", 2018-2021. Author of over 125 scientific papers. SRGF, ISSMGE, ATINER, WASET member. Educational expert evaluator in Romania (ARACIS). Erasmus+ programme academic coordinator (38 programmes in the EU and 23 with partner countries), mobility for teaching and training at 20 UE universities and 18 world universities.
