Prof Karadag was born in 1968 at Kilis and graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He received ERS Training Fellowship and worked at the Royal Brompton Hospital, UK in 1994-5 with Prof Andrew Bush. In 2005, Dr Karadag received ERS Research Fellowship Award and worked at the Munich University Division of Pediatric Allergy under the supervision of Prof. Erika von Mutius. He has been working as Professor of Pediatrics and the Head of the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Marmara University since 2011. Dr Karadag served as the Foreign Relations Chair at the Turkish Thoracic Society between 2013-2015 and as the Chair of the Epidemiology of Pediatric Pulmonary Diseases of ERS between 2015-2017. He is a member of ERS Clinical Research Collaboration for Severe Asthma (SPACE) and has 84 articles on asthma, bronchiectasis, CF and PCD. He is currently the Vice-Chair of Middle East Cystic Fibrosis Association.

Steven M. Donn, MD, FAAP is a Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, where he is a member of the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Dr. Donn received his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He obtained his training in General Pediatrics at the University of Vermont - Medical Center Hospital, and his fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and its Sub-board of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Donn is actively involved in teaching, writing, editing, and clinical research. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including elected memberships in the Society for Pediatric Research and the American Pediatric Society. He has been chosen as one of the “Best Doctors in America” since 1994. He is internationally known for his expertise in the management of respiratory failure in newborns. He has authored more than 240 medical journal articles, edited 37 books and specialty journals, written 239 book chapters, and has produced numerous educational materials on neonatal respiratory failure and hypoxic-ischemic brain injury. Dr. Donn has held consulting positions for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, numerous medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare management corporations. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and served as the Chair of its Committee on Medical Liability and Risk Management. He lives in Ann Arbor with Paula, his wife of 49 years, and their two German Shepherds, Robby and Anya. Dr. Donn’s extracurricular interests include astronomy- he is a passionate follower of total solar eclipses-, international travel, photography, and spectator sports.

Prof. Nightingale Syabbalo is a Pulmonologist and Clinical Respiratory Physiologist by training. He obtained his postgraduate training under the mentorship of one of the leading Respiratory Physiologist of our times from St. George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London, UK. He has worked as a researcher, academician, and Consultant Physician in several countries, including Canada, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and Zambia. He has published several articles in high impact medical journals. Noteworthy, he is an Editorial Member of five medical journals in Pulmonology, Respiratory Medicine and Research, and Internal Medicine, and he is a reviewer of more than five journals in Respiratory Medicine. Dr. Mario Ponce is a specialist in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He obtained his medical degree at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami and fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He joined Morehouse School of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Medicine in 2020.

Irshad Ahmad is an Associate Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He received his doctorate degree in biological sciences from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Harendra Kumar Gautam is a graduate of L L R Medical College, Meerut. And did his post-graduation in ENT from G S V M Medical College Kanpur. He has joined as Lecturer in Dec 2010 at GSVM Medical College Kanpur. He is trained in all routine and emergency surgeries of ear, nose and throat. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of ENT. He has expertise in endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery, rhino septoplasty, micro ear surgery, micro laryngeal surgery, maxillectomy and neuro- otological disorders. He has special interest in Thyroid and Salivary glands (Parotid and Submandibular) surgeries. He has about 25 publications in various international and national journals. He has presented papers a various workshops and conferences.
I graduated in biology (1998) and biochemistry (1999) University of Salamanca. I worked in Cell Biology and Pathology laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine I obtained a fellowship, to my Doctoral Thesis in Neuroscience. In these years I did three stays at the University of West Virginia with the PhD. Albert Berrebi. I obtained the title of PhD, analysis of nerve connections of the auditory pathways. I learned different techniques of microsurgery, neuronal marking, immunohistology, optical and confocal microscopy techniques. After the thesis, I became part of the team of the Molecular Genetics Unit of the Ramón-Cajal hospital. I became Secugen company staff as head of the Molecular Genetics laboratory, for 5 years. During this same period, he was also part of the teaching staff of the European University of Madrid.
