My interest for the neuroanatomical research began in 1978, when I was student of the Human Anatomy Dept. of the Seville’s School of Medicine under the supervision of Prof. Génis Gálvez. I was MD Awarded in 1981, and I also received the Doctoral Award in 1983 for my PhD work. After this I was postdoctoral fellow at the INSERM U-106 (1986-1987; Paris, France) under the direction of Prof. Constantino Sotelo. In 2004 I moved from the Seville University to the Pablo de Olavide University, in which I am Full Professor of Human Anatomy and Embryology. I have published more than 70 papers, 10 book’s chapters and edited 1 book of techniques for the nervous system study. I was Guest-Editor of Brain Research Review and Frontiers in Neuroanatomy (currently), and reviewer of several journals (Frontiers in Neuroscience, Molecular Neurobiology, Cerebellum, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, etc.)

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physician of Ireland, Glasgow, London, American college of Physician and Australasian college of Physician. He is an international examiner of the Royal College of Physician, Dublin. He examines for Australasian college of physician, university of Western Australia and Australian medical council. He is currently Associate Professor IV of the Federal University of Sergipe and Full Professor of the School of Medicine of Tiradentes University. In 2010, he became a Bachelor of Nursing by the Integrated Colleges of Patos. He then began the post-graduation in Emergency and Emergency at this same institution. In 2012, he did the postgraduate in Morphological Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). In this same period, he realized out his first works in the area of Human Anatomy and began her teaching career. Already in 2015, he began the Masters in Cognitive and Behavior Neuroscience at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), where he researched on episodic-like memory in rats. In 2019, he completed his doctorate in Morphofunctional Sciences at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). He currently maintains collaborations with other researchers

Alexander Sirotkin is known specialist in biology of reproduction and leader in studies of some ovarian signaling substances (small RNAs, transcription factors, protein kinases, metabolic hormones, growth factors a.o.) and factors regulating female reproduction (food, plant molecules, stress, environmental contaminants a.o.). He worked as Research Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, Head of the Laboratory and Project Leader in the Research Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics (Leningrad-Pushkin, USSR), International Laboratory for Biotechnology (Nitra, Czechoslovakia), Research Institute of Animal Production/Animal Production Research Centre (Nitra, Slovakia) and Constantine the Philosopher University (Nitra, Slovakia). He had fellowships in Institute of Physiology and Genetics (Libechov, Czechoslovakia), Institute of Experimental Endocrinology (Bratislava, Slovakia), Research Centre of Animal Production (Dummerstorf, Germany), Institute for Animal Science and Animal Behaviour (Celle, Germany), Institute of Animal Science (Mariensee, Germany), University of Colonia (Colonia, Germany), Babraham Institute (Babraham, UK), University of Bristol (Bristol, UK), University of Nottingham (Sutton Bonington, UK) and other international research centers. His teaching activities included lectures in more than 10 universities and research centers, as well as the supervision of more than 60 undergraduate and PhD student works. Actually he has more than 650 publications, mainly in international biomedical journals and several books including recent monograph “Regulators of Ovarian Functions” (NY, USA, 2014), whose have more than 2500 citations. For the results obtained during his basic and applied studies and related publications in area of biology and endocrinology of reproduction he was nominated to a more than 10 national and international awards.

Dr. Myers holds a Doctorate in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University Department of Nutrition, Food, and Exercise Sciences. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy in 2004 and received his Master of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He is faculty at Radford University where he teaches Human Performance and Exercise Physiology. Dr. Myers is a Master Cycling and Triathlon Coach with Peaks Coaching Group in Bedford, VA. He is a certified United States of America Swimming Level 2 Coach. United States of America Cycling Level 1 Coach and United States of America Triathlon Level 2 Endurance coaching certifications. Furthermore, Dr. Myers is a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutritionists (ISSN) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
