Forshing Lui graduated from the University of Hong Kong Medical School in 1978. After I finished my training in Internal Medicine in Hong Kong, I got my training in Neurology in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England under the mentorship of late Lord John Walton. I moved to the United States in 1995. I had my second Neurology Residency training in UC Davis and become Board Certified in both Neurology and Vascular neurology. I am serving as the Professor of Neurology, and the Neurosciences Course Director at the California Northstate University, College of Medicine.

Liu-Cheng Li, graduated from Anhui Medical University, is currently working in the Department of Pharmacy, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medcine, Hangzhou, China. I have published several researches and reviews as the first author in International and national peer reviewed journals such as J Pharmacol Exp Ther, J Cell Mol Med, Front Pharmacol, J Ethnopharmacol and Phytomedicine, etc. I also acts as an reviewer for the journals Drug Design, Development and Therapy, Pharmacognosy Research, Pharmaceutical Biology, Biomedical Research, Journal of Pharmacopuncture, etc. Now, I am undertaking the research funds of Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Provincial and the Hospital Pharmacy Special Research Funding Project of Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Association.

Dr. Chee Kong YAP has been working as a full professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) since 2021. Prof Yap has been an academician for more than 18 years at UPM and 23 years as a researcher. Prof Yap has supervised more than 80 undergraduates and 30 postgraduate students in the fields of ecotoxicology, environmental biology, environmental sciences, water quality and ecotoxicological genetics. Prof Yap has published more than 350 papers in refereed academic journals, 5 books (three published in NOVA Science Publishers, USA) and 32 book chapters. Until December 2022, 219 of them have been indexed in Elsevier’s Scopus with an H-index of 32 (>3260 citations). Prof Yap has also been invited in honorary as Editorial Board members for more than 30 international academic journals. Prof Yap has been an invited visiting researcher at National lnstitute of Environmental Studies, Tsukuba (Japan). Nationally, Prof Yap has been officially appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the INTI International University Malaysia. Internationally, Prof Yap has been officially appointed as a Visiting Professor at Kobe University (Japan).

Brandon Lucke-Wold was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Neuroscience and distinction in honors from Baylor University. He completed his MD/PhD, Master’s in Clinical and Translational Research, and the Global Health Track at West Virginia University School of Medicine. His research focus was on traumatic brain injury, neurosurgical simulation, and stroke. At West Virginia University, he also served as a health coach for the Diabetes Prevention and Management program in Morgantown and Charleston, WV, which significantly improved health outcomes for participants. In addition to his research and public health projects, he is a co-founder of the biotechnology company Wright-Wold Scientific, the pharmaceutical company CTE cure, and was a science advocate on Capitol Hill through the Washington Fellow’s program. He has also served as president of the WVU chapters for the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, Neurosurgery Interest group, and Erlenmeyer Initiative Entrepreneur group. In addition, he has served as vice president for the graduate student neuroscience interest group, Nu Rho Psi Honor Society, and medical students for global health. He was an active member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He is currently a member of the UF House Staff Council, Positive Culture Committee, Quality Improvement Committee, Board of Directors Alachua County Medical Society, and Accreditation Requirements Review Committee. He is married to Noelle Lucke-Wold and has two children. As a family, they enjoy running with their dogs, rock climbing, and traveling. In his spare time, Brandon frequently runs half marathons and 10ks together with is wife. Brandon also enjoys reading, playing piano, discussing philosophy, and playing chess. He is currently a Pgy5 neurosurgery resident at University of Florida with pursuing endovascular enfolded training and was awarded the Dempsey Cerebrovascular Research Fellowship.

Yehuda Shoenfeld is the founder and former head of the Zabludowicz Center for Autoimmune Diseases, at the Sheba Medical Center, which is affiliated to the Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv University, in Israel. Professor Shoenfeld is also the Incumbent of the Laura Schwarz- Kipp Chair for Research of Autoimmune Diseases at the Tel-Aviv University. Professor Shoenfeld’s clinical and scientific works focus on autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, and he has published more than 2280 papers in journals. He was recently awarded a Life Contribution Prize in Internal Medicine in Israel, 2012 as well as the ACR Master Award in 2013. In 2018 he was elected to the Israeli Academy of Sciences. In 2021 he was nominated as a President of Ariel University in Israel.
My lab is interested in understanding how genes and non-heritable environmental factors may converge to cause neurodevelopmental disorders, like autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and Neurodegenerative Disorders, like Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
He was appointed to the Department of Environmental Health Engineering at Urmia University of Medical Sciences science 2011 to 2015 and then he was appointed to the Department of Environmental Health Engineering at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences as an Assistant Professor in 2016-2020, and in 2021 he was promoted to Associate Professor.
