Abstract
The aerospace industry demands that the materials used for making aircrafts meet the required specifications of increased resistance to fatigue and corrosion, improved fracture toughness, and have high strength-to-weight ratio because of their condition of service [1,2]. Aluminum and its alloys have been the primary choice of materials in the aerospace industry since the late 1920s.
