abstract
It is widely accepted that patients in vulnerable circumstances such as those with mental illness or incarceration often have more difficulty prioritizing their basic primary care needs and are this at risk for conditions that are preventable. Women with histories of mental illness, substance abuse and incarceration are more highly associated with having a diagnosis of cervical cancer.
