Anatomy of Muscles, Bones and Joints of the Belt of the Human Upper Limb, In Reflection of Phal Eristics, on Themed Badges and Brooches

In this thematic, new, research article, its author presents a new, large phaleristic selection dedicated to the anatomy of the human muscular, skeletal system and its joints, the girdle of the upper extremities, in reflection of thematic badges. In total, this work presents 142 screenshots, anatomical thematic badges and brooches, the images on which are dedicated to the bones, joints, and muscles of the belt of the upper and lower extremities of a person.

The study of different facets and directions of medical science is always relevant and in demand. Quite new and exclusive is the presentation of different areas of anatomy, its organs, and systems, in collecting media and, in particular, in phaleristics, in collections of thematic badges. This article is a logical continuation of the author’s previous, first anatomical articles on human myology and osteology. After further research aimed at identifying new phaleristic materials, using the capabilities of the Internet, on thematic phaleristic sites, new, additional collections of badges dedicated to human myology and osteology were found, which were not included in the materials of the previous, first article. These are completely new, collectible, thematic anatomical materials, reflecting the means of phaleristics!

In this article, the muscular system of different parts of the human body, or myology, will be presented, as well as the human osteo-articular system - osteology and arthrology, the girdles of the human upper extremities. For the convenience of presenting textual and illustrative material, separate sections include muscles, bones and joints of the belt of the upper and lower extremities of a person. On a number of thematic badges, there are names of muscles, bones and joints, either in Latin or in English. When preparing this article, the author, unfortunately, did not find, either domestic or foreign, other versions of thematic anatomical badges dedicated to myology, osteology and arthrology, as well as thematically oriented collection phaleristic articles on these sections of human anatomy, in reflection of phaleristics.

A very small number of collection sites present anatomical products in these sections. They are presented by the author, in the list of sources borrowed from the Internet, in order to comply with copyright. In total, this article presents 143 copies of thematic badges and 4 copies of brooches dedicated to the bones, muscles and joints of the human upper limb belt.

The purpose of writing this article, and the research carried out by the author, is to identify, represent and present phaleristic collection materials (thematic anatomical badges and brooches), with images on their front part (obverse) of various muscle groups, bones and joints, and the belt of the upper limb of a person.

When writing this article, its author uses methods such as literary critical analysis of all domestic and foreign sources of information available at the time of writing. After careful selection and systematization of the selected illustrative material, they were divided into subsections, on topics devoted to the bones, joints and muscles of the human upper extremities. All found illustrative materials were converted by the author into screenshots, and those used in this article into thematic illustrations, with strict respect for copyright and mandatory indication of the sources of their borrowing on the Internet.

The figures in this article present a thematic, anatomical selection, consisting of 138 thematic badges and 3 brooches dedicated to osteology, arthrology and myology of the girdle of the upper extremities of the human body [1-5]. A number of icons presented as illustrations, along with images of bones, joints and various muscle groups of the upper extremities, have on their front part the names of these muscles - either in English or in Latin. The presented anatomical, thematic badges, on their front part, represent such parts of the belt of the upper extremities of a person as the scapula, clavicle, humerus and shoulder joint, ulna and radius, radiocarpal joint and human hand/hands [1-5,8-13].There are a number of icons that depict all the components of the upper limb belt, and not separately, any bones, joints and/or muscles, and the human hand, as a whole, or, in part, together with other parts of the human body. These instances of icons are presented in (Figure 1) [1-5,8-13].

Further, in (Figure 2), a thematic selection of icons is presented, dedicated to the muscles of both the entire upper limb and its individual parts, except for the hands [1-7,10-13].

(Figure 3) shows a small selection of anatomical badges dedicated to the bones, muscles, and joints of the human shoulder girdle, namely: the collarbone, shoulder blades, and shoulder joints of a human person [3-6,10-13].

(Figure 4) shows a selection of thematic anatomical badges, depicting on their front part the bones and joints of the shoulder, elbow and radius, both together and separately, not including the anatomical formations of the human hands [4-6,11-13].

The following, (Figure 5), on thematic anatomical badges, presents, black and white and color, images of bones, muscles, tendons and, partially, blood vessels and nerves, human hands [4- 6,11-13].

(Figure 6) shows 4 thematic, anatomical brooches, classified as falerics, with images of bones, the upper limb of a person [1,7].

This concludes another anatomical research article on the myology, osteology and arthrology of the girdle of the human upper extremities, with a completely new anatomical selection of thematic icons dedicated to these areas of human anatomy.
