Abstract

Today, the world population has exceeded to seven billion. In the next 50 years, an increase of approximately three billion is expected. In addition to that income levels have dramatically risen in some countries like China, India and Brazil. According to global statistics, consumption of meat and other animal products is directly related to people’s income levels [1]. For example, meat consumption increased as the income level of developing countries (China, India, Brazil, etc.) increased.
