Electroconvulsive Therapy in Adolescent with Complex Psychotic Episode: A Case Report

Despite caregivers’ negative views, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is in adolescents could be effective in mood disorders, especially those with pharmacoresistance. Unilateral ECT may leads to better results than bilateral ECT in this indication. This clinical case shows the interest of using ECT in adolescents suffering from severe pathologies along with neuroleptic intolerance.
